Trot Lovers

The plot revolves around a girl, Choi Choon Hee, that lives with her sister, Byul, and her father. They have a convenience store. One day, the store is closed because they can’t pay the loans. Choi Choon Hee makes a marathon team and runs the marathon. There, she meets Jang Joon-Hyun, a celebrity also running in the marathon, that cheats to be victorious, which is seen by Choon Hee. Then someone reveals that he cheated on the race and he causes her to get fired. But, he’s career in music starts to fall. So, the president of the company says that if Choi Choon Hee enters his company through auditions and, when released an album, she wins the first place, he can have an album. So he accepts in order to succeeded in music again. She accepts in order to pay the bills so that her father returns home, but she can only sing trot. But what will happen to this two? Why did the president of the company want to Choon Hee to enter his company? Why did her father run away? Will he come back? Will trot succeed?

I liked the plot, and the songs since I only listen to idols and we can see another genre that we don’t see in idols songs. But, I have to say that there was one part of the plot that I predicted and I thought, “why the hell did they put that?”. Otherwise, I really liked the story, the characters and the songs.
I end this post with 3 songs:
 - "I Look To You" by Beige (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExHbN4LhD6g)
 - "With You" by Eunji (original by Nam Jin) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5h0vhDIwW6k)
 - "Hot Pepper" by Eunji (original by Yoo Ji Na) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1MCdcoE21I)

This is the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gDObJXTHfI
I think they should have released the trot songs in the OST.

A Ẃerewolf Boy

This post is about a elderly woman, Kim Sun-yi in her sixties living in United States that receives a call about the sale of her old house in South Korea. So, she flies to South Korea and meets her granddaughter, and they go to Kim Sun-yi's house. There, she starts to remember the past in that house. 47 years ago, Sun-yi, her sister and her mother moved to that house, where they lived at the mercy of their arrogant and foppish landlord, Ji-tae, son of the business partner of Sun-yi's late father.Due to her poor health (related to her lungs), she doesn't go to school, so she doesn't have friends. One night, she sees a shadow in the outhouse, and in the next day, she and her mother find a boy in their property that behaves like a beast, but Kim Sun-yi's mother adopts him thinking that he is one of the orphan's from the Korean War since no one knows who he is. Kim Sun-yi at first thinks he is a nuisance, but afterwards he starts treating him and trying to teach him manners and even writing in order for him to live in society. They named him Chul-soo. But who is he? Why is he there? Will he be able to live in society?
I really liked this story, it made me cry in the end. The actors were amazing, specially Song Joo-ki. Sorry that what I wrote as a preview doesn't understand very well because I really didn't want to spoil the movie. But I really recommend you this movie.
I end this post with one song that appears in the movie, it's called "Prince and it's sang by the actress that played Sun-yi, Park Bo-young:

Nodame Cantabile

This drama and movies are based on a manga with the same name. The plot is about Chiaki Shinichi, a piano player in Momogaoka College of Music . When he was young, he went with his father to Europe to see orchestras. When he went to Prague, he met Sebastiano Vieira, a conductor and became he's pupil. But, he returned to Japan. Even though he wanted to return to Prague, he couldn't due to his fear of planes and boats due to accidents he suffered. In this college, he went to piano division, even though he still dreams on becoming a conductor. One day, he hears someone playing piano and becomes interested in who is paying. It is Noda Megumi, known as Nodame, that is playing. She prefers to play by ear and has difficulty in reading the scores. She fell in love with Chiaki at first sight, but he didn't. Will this love blossom? Will Nodame start to play piano more seriously? Can Chiaki become a conductor and how? Will he be able to go to Europe to met Vieira?
I really like this drama, and I think that the actors played very well this parts. I started to watch this because I heard of a Korean adaptation. The songs are beautiful played and shows the work of an orchestra and a pianist, and what they suffer and need to learn in order to improve.
I end this post with the opening and the ending of this drama, that are orchestra and piano pieces, both played by Nodame Orchestra conducted by Toshiaki Umeda. The first link of each song is a scene of a drama with those songs (has spoilers), the second link is the full version from the OST (no spoilers).

Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo/ Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches

This drama is based on the manga with the same name. The plot is about a boy, Ryū Yamada (Yamamoto Yusuke), that is a delinquent, and Urara Shiraishi (Mariya Nishiuchi), a great student. One day both of them fall on the stairs and end up swapping bodies. They try to return to their own bodies and they found out that the only way was with a kiss. When reviving the Supernatural club, suggested by Toranosuke Miyamura (Ide Takuya), the student council vice-president, they found a book about the witches. It says that there are 7 witches in the school with different powers. And so, it begins their quest to find the other 6. But who are they? What power do they have?
I found out this story by the manga, so I started to read it. When they announced that a drama was going to be made of this, I found it awesome. I have to say that I really liked the actors that participated in this drama, but the manga is still on going, so for 8 episodes only the story was cut and slightly changed, including the ending.
I will end this post with the theme of the drama : Time Machine Nante Iranai by Maeda Atsuko (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRu9n3Kv_vQ).

I hear your voice/ I can hear your voice

This drama is about Soo-ha who's dad died in a a car accident. But that's not the truth because the car accident was intentional and his dad didn't die from the crash but from murderer. But Soo-ha has a power: he can hear people minds, but he can't speak and if he tells that he can read minds he will be considered crazy. But there were two witnesses to this crime: Hye-Sung and Do-Yoon, but only the first serves as a witness despite the threat of the murderer Joon-Kook, and he goes to prison.  Ten years later Soo-ha is a high school student that wants to protect the girl who testified and Hey-sung is a lawyer. What happens when Joon-Kook gets out of jail? He will go after those who put him in prison. Is he going to behave well after getting out? If not, can they get evidence to put him I'm jail again? What happened between the two witnesses to the crime and why only one of them testified? Why did she turned to be a lawyer? How will the two witnesses met again? What's the reason that lead to the murder? All of these questions and more will be answered if you watch it.
This drama shows how revenge will lead to murderer that can go through generations, and that sometimes the evidence isn't enough to condemn a criminal and that a piece evidence can make a innocent person seem quilty.
