This drama is an adaptation of a manga with the same name. It talks about a group of teenagers that became detectives under Morihiko Dan. They are Kyuu (Kamiki Ryunosuke), Minami Megumi aka Megu (Shida Mirai), Amakusa Ryuu (Ryosuke Yamada of Hey Say Jump), Toyama Kintaro aka Kinta (Kaname Jun) and Narusawa Kasuma (Wakaba Katsumi in drama or Naruki Matsuyama in special). How are the cases related to each other? Who is the person behind them? What is the past of Ryuu and Kyuu?

   I really liked this drama, and it was my first drama. If you have read/are reading the manga, you will notice the difference and the change of order/mix of somes cases and the origin of the group, but don't let that stop you. The cast is great, and the cases they solve will make you (at least it was what happened to me).

   NOTE: You have to watch the special first because it shows how they met and got to know each other.

Mimi

This drama is about a webtoon writer Han Min-woo(Max Changmin of TVXQ) that has memory loss. He started writting his story, December 8, because of a calendar. But soon he starts to have a problem writting the plot of his story and suffers from headaches. He then starts to look for his memories. The time of the flashback is when Min-woo was 18 years old, also the time when he had his first love, Mimi(Moon Ga-young). You will find out about his past, the reason of his memory loss.

I really liked the drama, but you should be prepared for tears (mostly in the last episode). You also have to pay close attention because you have to understand which is the present and which is the past. This is a special drama with only 4 episodes.

The Prime Minister and I

 

The plot of this drama is about a jornalist Nam Da-jung (Yoona from SNSD) that is a paparazzi. She meets a runner up to prime minister Kwon Yul (Lee Bem-soo), who has 3 children, struggling to educate them. Due to a scandal about them, they create a contract marriage. What will happen to them when she gets into the household?

I haver to say that I enjoyed watching this drama, as well as the OST. It has a little of

mystery, secrets, a love triangle. I have to say that I started watching this drama because of Yoona, but I think that all the actors were great.

Skip Beat

Hello. Today I'm going to talk about a Taiwanese drama based on a manga. The manga's name is "Skip Beat".

The plot is about a girl, named Gong Xi (Ivy Chen) that helps his childhood friend called  Bu Po Shan (Donghae of Super Junior M) that is a celebrity, by doing lots of jobs. When she catches him with another woman, she tries to get revenge at him by entering the entertainment world. She goes to a company that is rival of Bu Po Shang, where she meets Dun Helian (Siwon of Super Junior M) that is mad at her for entering that business because of revenge. There she learns that entertainment world isn't easy and she learns that she loves acting.  She melts Dun Helian ice heart and learns that entertainment world isn't easy as she learns that she loves acting and forgets about revenge. It's a drama that you want to keep watching even though is only has 15 episodes. Hope you like.

Hana Kimi

 

Hi. Today I'm going to talk about a drama that was based on a well known manga. I'm talking about Hana Kimi. There are two japanese dramas and one taiwanese drama. It talks about a girl that wants to met a boy that has give up on his dream and she wants to encourage him to continue. The 1st japanese drama; with Oguri Shun and Horikita Maki is a comic version while the 2nd one is a serious version; with Maeda Atsuko and Nakamura Aoi. I liked and recommend both of them. The taiwanese version has comic and serious situations, but it has a little more romance than japanese versions. I liked this one too. Hope you like.

EDIT: The korean version is named "To the beautiful you" and the main characters are portrayed by Choi Minho from SHINee and Sulli from f(x).

Pi Li Mit/ The Clue Collector/ Mysterious Incredible Terminator

Hello. Today I'm going to suggest a detective drama. It is called Pi Li Mit, also known as The Clue Collector.

Besides being detective, it also involves romance and school life. It is about a girl that love mysteries that are wrote by the father of that boy. These two and two more are gathered to form a group (each person has a special skill) to fight crimes that are happening inside the school. A shocking truth about the culprit mixed with romance, mystery and trouble for this group.
